*Tierra amada*

At the heart of this program is "Tierra Amada," a work that unites the roots and rhythms of the Canary Islands with the delicacy and power of Pilar Falcón Calderín's lyrics.

Composed by Alicia González de la Fe, this piece is inspired by the beauty of our landscapes, the traditions that give us our identity, and the profound love for our land. Its emotional and evocative nature is born from a melting pot of sounds that reflect the essence of the island, while Pilar Falcón Calderín's words, in the form of a poem, give voice to this visceral feeling...

"Tierra Amada" is not just a musical work; it's a tribute to the land, to memories, and to the most personal affections. Alicia conceived this work as a special gift for me, a dedication that deeply honors me, and I am thrilled to be able to perform it at this significant moment.

This piece, which was recorded last Thursday, June 12, at the Auditorium of the Royal Conservatory of Music Victoria Eugenia in Granada, reaches its world premiere today, filling this space with the soul of the Canary Islands.

A deeply intimate work that, at the same time, opens a dialogue with all of us who feel this unbreakable bond with our land. Today, I invite you to close your eyes and let this music take us to those distant corners of the island, to feel, to remember, to dream.

With "Tierra Amada", I celebrate the unique connection we have with our land and with those who came before us, knowing that our roots, though invisible, nourish us and keep us grounded.
