REGISTRATION FOR THE III ADVANCED ORCHESTRAL
CONDUCTING COURSE

In this third edition, we once again offer trainee conductors the opportunity to have a space within the program to lead the Festival orchestra and enrich their experience.

As a new feature, two closing concerts have been scheduled this year to provide the opportunity for as many registered students as possible to conduct. There will be a practical part, working alongside the orchestra, and another part, analyzing the works and watching videos.
The organization will provide a video camera for recording during rehearsals. However, students may also bring their own recording equipment for the sessions.
Students interested in registering should prepare the following program, which the Aguere Chamber Orchestra will perform at the closing concerts:

*For both the rehearsal on July 18th and the concert on July 20th, the festival organizers will provide registered students with transportation from Plaza del Adelantado to the rehearsal and concert venues.

The rest of the venues are located in the historic center of San Cristóbal de La Laguna and are very close to each other.

Registration period: From April 9 to June 24, 2025

 

Maximum number of active students: 8

Maximum number of listeners: up to capacity

 

Price for active students: €250.00

Price for hearing students: €90.00

 

Diploma: A diploma will be awarded to all students attending the closing concert.

 

Closing concerts: They will be held on Saturday 19th at the Espacio Mutua Tinerfeña and on Sunday 20th July at the San Bartolomé de Tejina Church .

 

*All students will have the opportunity to conduct during the rehearsal days outlined in the schedule to prepare for the scheduled program.

 

Awards:

The instructor will select the conductors who will participate in the concerts, and they will have the opportunity to conduct the AGUERE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA. Both concerts will be recorded so that students can enjoy a professional recording.

Registration and deadlines for confirming vacant places as active students:

*Due to high demand in previous editions, places for active students will be confirmed following the deadlines outlined in the following admissions protocol:

 

On May 15, 2025 , after receiving applications to date, the organization will confirm each student's place as an active student. From May 15 onward , if there are vacancies, the active student's place will be confirmed in the order in which they are received and after confirmation from the Maestro. Each student's artistic biography will be evaluated. Students may also send a link to their own recordings along with their biography.

The latter is optional, but will be positively valued in the event that a selection process is required.

 

*Once a place is confirmed, the registration fee will not be refunded. Once all eight places for active students are filled, students will be given the option of attending the course as an audit student or withdrawing from the course. In the latter case, the registration fee will be refunded.
