
DANIEL BARBOSA
Pianist and repertoire at the Conservatory
Superior of Music Manuel Castillo of Seville
Originally from Cádiz, she joined the Andalusian Music and Performing Arts Professorship in 2021, specializing in piano repertoire for instruments.
During her academic training, she received piano lessons from Rocío Román and César Marimón, earning a Higher Diploma in Piano from the Manuel Castillo School of Music in Seville. At the same time, she took numerous advanced performance courses with national and international pianists and educators. She subsequently deepened her musical knowledge from a variety of perspectives, earning a Master's degree in Musical Performance (UNIA), a Master's degree for Secondary Education Teaching (UNIR), and a Master's degree in Musical Research (UGR).
He develops much of his professional activity as a pianist in various vocal and instrumental ensembles, including the chamber music group Farben Duo with saxophonist Javier Linares. In this area, he has participated in festivals and concert series in Spain, as well as in the cities of Lyon (France), Florence (Italy) and Sendai (Japan), highlighting his performances with different musical groups in emblematic halls such as the Wiener Konzerhaus (Austria), the Reales Alcázares in Seville and the Kaufman Music Center and Carnegie Hall in New York (United States). In recent years his professional career has been marked by his work as an accompanying pianist, participating in festivals and conferences such as the Sevilla Sax Meeting, the International Gran Canaria Saxophone Competition and Mediterranean Sax Point.
Currently, he combines his teaching work at the Manuel Castillo Conservatory of Music in Seville with various musical projects, specializing in chamber music for piano.
